SUNDAY CAMP REPORT OF 26-05-19

A team of doctors along with post-graduate students and auxiliary staff rendered health care at the camp site comprising dental / medical / eye/ physiotherapy / screening and treatment for the patients with respective illness. All treatments were provided free of cost, which included  oral cavity examination besides  oral health talk, oral hygiene instructions,  tooth restorations, oral prophylaxis, X-rays and tooth extractions. Medicines were dispensed free of cost and patients were referred to the I.T.S.C.D.S.R for further treatment.

CDE workshop on clinical photography- 26 June 2019

“A photograph speaks a thousand words!” And teaching the implication of this essential skill , the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery organized a CDE workshop on clinical photography to enhance the knowledge of students and faculty in this arena on 26 June 2019. The guest speaker was renowned orthodontist and photographer Prof.  Dr. Tarun Sharma from Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh who along with his team from Canon explained the concepts of clinical photography and gave a hands on to students for clicking clinical pictures.

Implantology for undergraduates!

Under the able guidance of our respected Vice Chairman, Mr Arpit Chadha ,second session of basic implantology training for final year BDS students was conducted. The module was power-packed with lectures, live demo surgery with PRP and ridge split and comprehensive hands-on activities for orienting students to dental implants! Students placed implants on dummy mandibles and  practiced suturing with real tissue feel on chicken pieces.

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad organized an informative CDE and Workshop on “Tobacco Control and Cessation” on 29th May 2019.
