A team of doctors along with post-graduate students and auxiliary staff rendered health care at the camp site comprising dental / medical / eye/ physiotherapy / screening and treatment for the patients with respective illness. All treatments were provided free of cost, which included oral cavity examination besides oral health talk, oral hygiene instructions, tooth restorations, oral prophylaxis, X-rays and tooth extractions. Guest Lecture on “Orofacial pain, TMDs and Sleep apnea” was organized by the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad on 17th September 2019. The Guest Speaker of the day was Dr. Davis C Thomas, a world renowned Orofacial Pain specialist from New Jersey, USA. A total of 150 participants attended the lecture including faculty, post graduates students and interns. It was a very interactive and highly informative session which made everyone think beyond the usual.
An informative workshop on a “Facial Hair Transplant” was organized by the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad on 13th & 14th September 2019. The guest speaker was Prof. Sainath Matsa, who is a certified well known Maxillofacial Surgeon. The workshop was inaugaurated by the Director PG studies, Dr. Vinod Sachdev, Principal, Dr. Devi Charan Shetty and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (H.O.D. Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery).
