Under the able guidance of our respected Vice Chairman, Mr Arpit Chadha ,second session of basic implantology training for final year BDS students was conducted. The module was power-packed with lectures, live demo surgery with PRP and ridge split and comprehensive hands-on activities for orienting students to dental implants! Students placed implants on dummy mandibles and practiced suturing with real tissue feel on chicken pieces.

A Webinar was organized by Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology on 24th May, 2019 on the topic “Unmasking the Colossal Camouflage- Microbiome" which was presented by renowned speaker Dr. Radhika M. Bavle (Professor and Head, Department of Oral Pathology, Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka). The webinar was aimed at integrating the clinicians’ perspective with the branch of oral pathology to the UG & PG students and faculty members of all the departments.
Certificate course in “Facial Aesthetics” was organized by the Department of Periodontology & Oral Implantology, I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad in collaboration with International Academy of Aesthetic Training, Sweden on 8th – 9th May 2019 for students, faculty and clinical practitioners. Renowned speaker, Dr Rajat Bhandari was the course faculty who imparted clinical and theoretical knowledge regarding the subject to all the delegates.
