Hands-on workshop on "Advanced Molecular Diagnosis Using PCR and RFLP Techniques" was organized by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Microbiology at Centre for Advanced Research, I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad on 13 and 14 February 2019. The program witnessed enthusiastic response from the in house delegates as well as external delegates from pan India. They got vast theoretical knowledge and hands on experience from the experts in the field.
A team of doctors along with post-graduate students and auxiliary staff rendered health care at the camp site comprising dental / medical / eye/ physiotherapy / screening and treatment for the patients with respective illness. All treatments were provided free of cost, which included oral cavity examination besides oral health talk, oral hygiene instructions, tooth restorations, oral prophylaxis, X-rays and tooth extractions. Medicines were dispensed free of cost and patients were referred to the I.T.S.C.D.S.R for further treatment.
Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad organized a Webinar on the topic “3D Imaging in Maxillofacial Radiology- Unravel the Unseen" on 30th January, 2019. The webinar was delivered by renowned speaker, Dr. Junaid Ahmed (Professor, Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore). Faculty members and postgraduate students of all departments attended the webinar. As an appreciation for the regularity in attending college, 5 Interns and 5 BDS students also attended this webinar.
A lecture was organized by I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad for the BDS 3rd year, Final year, Interns and Post Graduate Students who are interested in pursuing their careers for further studies abroad on 30th January, 2019. One of our Alumni, Dr.AkanshaKatoch, was the speaker on this occasion. She gave an introduction to the requirements & opportunities for young dentists planning their further studies abroad. Workshop on Basic Life Support (Hands on certified course) was organized on 15th and 16th January 2019 at I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad in collaboration with American Heart Association for the students and faculty. All the delegates were taught to combat sudden cardiac arrest and management of such medical emergencies arising in the clinical practice through an exhaustive hands on program.

4th Advanced Oral Implantology Course 2018-19(3rd Module) was organized by I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad in association with CWM, Korea and Pusan National University, South Korea on 7th-9th January 2019 for our students, faculty and for external delegates. The program witnessed high participation. A plethora of knowledge was displayed by the course faculty which benefitted the delegates. We thank our honorable Vice Chairman, Mr Arpit Chadha for being instrumental in continuous organization of this program for the betterment of our students.
