I.T.S Dental College, Ghaziabad conducted a Workshop on Piezosurgery in association with Acteon Continuing Education on the topic “New Paradigms in Hard Tissue Management” on 16th April, 2019. The Guest Speaker of the lecture was renowned speaker Dr. Athreya Rajagopal who shared his knowledge and experience with our students. We thank our respected Vice Chairman Mr Arpit Chadha for supporting us in conducting this workshop.
A team of doctors along with post-graduate students and auxiliary staff rendered health care at the camp site comprising dental / medical / eye/ physiotherapy / screening and treatment for the patients with respective illness. All treatments were provided free of cost, which included oral cavity examination besides oral health talk, oral hygiene instructions, tooth restorations, oral prophylaxis, X-rays and tooth extractions. Medicines were dispensed free of cost and patients were referred to the I.T.S.C.D.S.R for further treatment.

The webinar was delivered by renowned speaker, Dr. Viresh Chopra, Faculty of Endodontology, Oman Dental College, Muscat, Oman. Faculty members and postgraduate students of all departments attended the webinar. 5 Interns and 5 BDS students also attended this webinar who have performed exceptionally good in academics.
