" With the support of our Honorable Vice Chairman Mr Arpit Chadha, an evocative webinar was organized on "Oral Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment" on 29th July 2021 by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I.T.S Dental College Ghaziabad.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Mridul Sharma who highlighted the importance of screening and clinical diagnosis of oral cancer.
"Under the guidance of our honorable Vice Chairman Mr Arpit Chadha, a post graduate Clinical Grand Round was conducted by the Department of Oral Pathology on 26th July 2021 on the topic "A clinicopathological insight to oral inflammation".
The presentation by done by the post graduate students of the Department of Oral Pathology which gave a detailed insight about the topic along with evidence based statistics.
A team of doctors along with post-graduate students and auxiliary staff rendered health care at the camp site comprising dental / medical / eye/ physiotherapy / screening and treatment for the patients with respective illness. All treatments were provided free of cost, which included oral cavity examination besides oral health talk, oral hygiene instructions, tooth restorations, oral prophylaxis, X-rays and tooth extractions. Medicines were dispensed free of cost and patients were referred to the I.T.S.C.D.S.R for further Treatment.
"A Faculty Continuing Education Programme(CEP) was organised by the Department of Prosthodontics, I.T.S Dental College Ghaziabad on 30th June 2021 on the topic "Prosthodontic Rehabilitation of Mutilated Dentition: A smooth pathway for complex journey".
The CEP gave a detailed insight about management of full mouth rehabilitation cases and restoration of function and esthetics.
A program was attended by post graduate students and faculty of all departments.

The webinar was focused on the concept of a periodontist being the hub of interdisciplinary approach and interact with other specialities in the best interest of the patient.
