  • The department is well-equipped with modern infra-structure and equipments required to provide excellence in clinical care and train future orthodontists. The air-conditioned department has state-of-the art infra-structural facilities like dedicated clinics for under-graduate and post-graduate students, seminar room equipped with high-end audio-visual facilities, a well-stocked department library, a dedicated record room for maintaining patient data, Dolphin Imaging software for diagnosis and visual treatment simulation, modern laboratory equipment and a computerized patient management system.
  • Department aim to provide our under –graduate students with the necessary diagnostic knowledge and skills to identify malocclusions, treat simple cases and co-ordinate referrals where indicated. The post-graduate curriculum is spread over a period of three years where the students treat a variety of clinical cases under the guidance of a highly experienced faculty. The clinical training encompasses all major orthodontic techniques including ceramic braces, myo-functional appliances, lingual orthodontics, self-ligation, micro-implants and clear aligners. The students are encouraged to adopt an evidence-based approach towards patient care and conduct research to develop their analytical skills. The students enjoy a fruitful learning experience through faculty and peer interactions which will equips them with the skill and knowledge to treat patients confidently.
  • The department has a highly experienced and trained faculty dedicated to teaching and patient care. The faculty aims to provide students with a disciplined and conducive learning environment. Each patient is treated under the watchful guidance of a faculty member to ensure optimal care. The department has a healthy feedback system to enable students as well as patients to provide their valuable inputs. This helps us to constantly upgrade and modify our systems and approach in order to provide the students and patients with the best of care.
