The Department of Orthodontics is involved with instructing students about the concepts of malocclusion and methods of overcoming malocclusion. The Department was established right at the inception of the institute with the goal of offering under-graduate and post-graduate study in orthodontics. The aim of the teaching program in orthodontics is to provide training in the navigation, prevention and interception of dental malocclusions and correction of occlusal problems by removable/ functional appliances and fixed appliances.
