Apart from regular teaching schedule I.T.S. CDSR organized a dynamic lecture on 2nd August 2006, two very eminent speakers from the Arizona state of United States Of America had visited our college and updated the faculty members, MDS students and BDS final year students on the topic- ESTHETIC DENTISTRY: LATEST ADVANCEMENTS. Both the speakers, Dr. Trent Smallwood and Dr. James Arnold, spoke for nearly 3 hours and emphasized on the importance of "SMILE" and about the various methods and techniques to enhance it further. Smile designing was discussed at length, and overview of a specialized practice setup was presented.Dr. Praveen Kumar HOD & Dr. Sonali Taneja Deptt. of Conservative briefed the views of speakers. Beginning of the lecture started with the lamp lighted before Maa Saraswati.

Guest Lectures were presented on August 29, & 30, 2006, by Prof. Dr. R.M. Pandey, Head Department of Biostatics, of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi. He delivered introductory lecturer on "Basic & Applied Biostatic Research Methodology" All MDS Students were present to gain advanced knowledge on this subject

National Consensus Workshop:

The college has organized Two days National Consensus Workshop on " Effective Utilization of Dental Manpower for Primary Prevention of Oro-dental Problems" with support of Government of India (G.O.I) associated with World Health Organization (W.H.O) at Auditorium of I.T.S Centre for Dental Studies & Research, Muradnagar Ghaziabad on 10th - 11th November, 2006 under guidance of eminent Dentist of India, Prof. Dr. Hari Parkash, Director I.T.S - CDSR, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad.

The workshop was inaugurated with the lighting of lamp before Maa SARSWATI by Chief Guest Dr. S.P.Ojha, Vice- chancellor, C.C.S. University, Meerut. As per tradition of our Countries students of I.T.S-CDSR pray to MAA SARSWATI. This prestigious workshop being organized under the banner of GOI- WHO, where three main organizations of the country are collaborating namely, WHO, AIIMS and I.T.S-CDSR.

Dr. Hari Parkash, Chairman of Organizing Committee had welcome the Chief Guest Dr. S.P.Ojha, Guest of Honour Dr. Anil Kohli (Padam Shree Padma Bhushan Awarded) President of Dental Council of India and all well-known speakers, members of Dental Science, Journalists of various Media. Shri R.P. Chadha, Chairman of I.T.S Group of Institutions Ghaziabad, presented Mementoes to all renowned Personalities.

Dr. Anil Kohli Released Background Material of the National Consensus Workshop. Sh S.Sood, Chief Administrator of I.T.S group of Institutions welcome and thanks to all guests and spoke about objectives of workshop. Inauguration ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks given by Dr. Ritu Duggal, organizing secretary of workshop. After the end of inauguration ceremony, Presentation of Research Paper started by speakers from different Institutions & organizations of India. After the end of Papers Presentation, I.T.S-CDSR students organized Cultural Evening, they performed Songs, Dance, Bhangra and play etc. Workshop & function was well organized by dedicated team of faculty members, postgraduate and undergraduate students . Well-known dignitaries col. Dr Paramjeet Singh, Dr. R.B.L Goswami Ex-V.C, C.C.S University, Meerut Lt.Gen ( Dr.) B. Rajan Delegate WHO representative, Dr Bhaskar Rao Vice President DCI, were attended and suggested their views in this Workshop.
