Overview

Conservative Dentistry is that specialty of dentistry which is concerned with the conservation of teeth in the mouth. It embraces the practice of operative dentistry and endodontics.

Operative dentistry involves various intra and extra-coronal restorations of teeth, while endodontics deals with diseases of tooth pulp and tissues surrounding the root of the tooth.

In this department, we perform various research and clinical procedures to save natural teeth that have defects due to dental cries, trauma, abrasion and attrition and esthetic disharmony including developmental anomalies or tooth discoloration, as well as pulpal and/or peri-apical diseases.

The treatment aims at restoring proper tooth morphology, function and esthetics in harmonious relationship with the surrounding tissues while preserving pulpal health.
