    The 12th BDS and 8th MDS Convocation was held at I.T.S-CDSR, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad on 22nd April 2017. The event started off with the procession of the graduating and Post-graduating students, faculty and dignitaries who were looking elegant in their ceremonial robes.
    The Vice-chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh University , Professor N.K Taneja was the Chief Guest for the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. R.P Chadha, Chairman, I.T.S- The Education Group. Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice-Chairman, I.T.S- The Education Group graced the occasion with his presence. 
    The dignitaries were introduced by Mr. Surinder Sood, Director PR and welcomed by Dr. Vinod Sachdev, Director PG studies. Dr. Devicharan Shetty, Principal, presented the college report.
    The degrees and medals were conferred to graduating students after taking the Hippocratic Oath. The best outgoing students certificates and shields were awarded by the dignitaries. It was a day to remember not only for the graduating students but also for their parents. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem and a photo session.

    I.T.S-CDSR celebrated the Alumni Meet on 22nd April 2017. It was held in the college campus at 7pm in the evening. All the faculty members were present to greet the old students who had come from far and wide. A cultural programme was arranged by the present students to entertain them and relive their own old memories.
     A total of 156 alumni had come and enjoyed meeting with the faculty and visiting their alma-mater. Two students Dr. Gaurav Singh and Dr. Parul Singh were presented a token of appreciation by Director Dr. Vinod Sachdev for being appointed at an Oncology Centre in Lucknow.
    There were 71 alumni present who are either private practioner or academicians associated with other institutes and 25 members came with their spouses & kids. The current graduating batch of students, both under graduates (70) & post graduates (15) were also present to attend their first Alumni meet.
    The cultural programme was preceded by a meeting of the alumni with the members of Alumni committee as well as IQAC members.
    The following points were kept forward by the Alumni
    1)    Alumni requested to register the current alumni association.
    2)    It was also suggested to conduct alumni  meet outside the college premises
    3)    All the alumni at key positions in their respective fields should regularly interact with the post graduates and under graduates at college. This may be achieved by conducting seminars, interactive sessions and clinicopathological conferences.
    4)    The alumni also proposed to donate books and journals to the college library for the benefits of the students
    5)    Alumni especially the private practitioners also proposed to refer their cases for CBCT in the college in lieu of concessional rate for them
    6)    The alumni also proposed to provide them concessions for in house CAD CAM machine for zirconia crowns.
    7)    It was also proposed that the preference of alumni for publishing their articles in the college journal- JOURNAL OF DENTAL SPECIALITIES.
    All the above mentioned points were discussed amongst the members of IQAC and alumni committee and it was unanimously agreed to present the proposal in next MRM meeting.
    The alumni expressed their gratitude and love for their Alma Mater by enthusiastically penning down their quotes on the “Wall of Alumni” and making us proud.
    An event of such a magnitude was solely possible with the support of our Chairman sir, Dr. R.P. Chadha, Vice Chairman Sir, Mr. Arpit Chadha, Management and able guidance of Principal Dr. D.C Shetty and Director Dr. Vinod Sachdev.

    In its unwavering commitment to serve the community I.T.S, one of the India’s leading education Group, Organized a blood Donation Camp at Murad Nagar, Campus in association with Rotary Club, Ghaziabad North on 8th April, 2017, Saturday. The campus witnessed active participation from volunteers of I.T.S-Dental College, I.T.S Pharmacy College & I.T.S Biotechnology College – Murad Nagar, Ghaziabad for this noble cause. 207 units of blood were donated during the camp. Through this Blood donation camp I.T.S aims to raise awareness for the need of safe blood and blood product and to thank students & faculty blood donors for their life saving gifts of blood.
    This occasion was whole heartedly supported by honorable Chairman – Dr. R.P.Chadha & Vice Chairman – Mr. Arpit Chadha I.T.S – The Education Group. The whole camp was monitored by the Principal - Dr. Devicharan Shetty. According to estimates from the WHO India needs 12 millions of blood every year. Camps like these are small steps to compensate the shortage of this valuable resource.

    The Module 2 of 3rd Batch of Comprehensive Oral Implantology Course in association with Bioner Implants Spain certified by ICOI and UCAM Spain was held on 6th to 8th April 2017 at I.T.S CDSR Muradnagar Ghaziabad.
    The Module witnessed 03 days of intensive implant lecturing covering varied topics like:
    Bone Grafts, Socket preservation, GBR Principles, Suturing techniques, Implant Macrodesign, Implant Overdentures, Osseointegration, Nerve lateralization, Tissue engineering and soft tissue manipulation in Oral Implantology.

    On the occasion of World Health Day, Chairman of I.T.S -The Education Group, Dr. R.P Chadha and Vice Chairman - Mr. Arpit Chadha expressed their views to the staff / students of I.T.S Dental College, Muradnagar regarding the Depression and ways to tackle it. World Health Day is celebrated to promote worldwide awareness of the issues around health and the importance its maintenance.

    The theme of this World Health Day 2017 is “Depression – Let’s talk”. Depression is the leading cause of ill health and disability worldwide. According to the latest estimates from WHO, more than 300 million people are now living with depression, an increase of more than 18% between 2005 and 2015. Lack of support for people with mental disorders, coupled with a fear of stigma, prevent many from accessing the treatment they need to live healthy, productive lives. The overall goal of the campaign is that more people with depression, everywhere in the world, both seek and get help.
    I.T.S- CDSR celebrated World Health Day on 07th April 2017. Based on this year’s theme “Depression – Let’s Talk” the Department of Public Health Dentistry had organized a series of events for faculty and post graduate students.
    The events were conducted by Seema Bhasin (Art of Living Faculty & Yoga Alliance International Certified Yoga Teacher). She has carried out various programs Nationally and Internationally.

    • Breathing Techniques to calm mind
