    A team of doctors along with post-graduate students and auxiliary staff rendered health care at the camp site comprising dental / medical / eye/ physiotherapy / screening and treatment for the patients with respective illness. All treatments were provided free of cost, which included  oral cavity examination besides  oral health talk, oral hygiene instructions,  tooth restorations, oral prophylaxis, X-rays and tooth extractions. Medicines were dispensed free of cost and patients were referred to the I.T.S.C.D.S.R for further Treatment. The following table provides overview of camps conducted during 02-01-17 to 08-01-17.

    I.T.S Centre for Dental Studies & Research held “The Inaugural Dr. Hari Parkash Oration Lecture” on 23rd December, 2016 at Vikram Sarabhai Auditorium.

    This was a gesture of I.T.S The Education Group to recognize the pivotal role of Prof. (Dr.) Hari Parkash played in the growth of I.T.S Group of Dental Institutions.

    Mr. Surider Sood (Director – Public Relations) appreciated the efforts put in by Dr. Hari Parkash during his tenure at I.T.S. He also welcomed Prof. Ritu Duggal (AIIMS- CDER) who has consented to deliver this Oration Lecture.

    Dr Vinod Sachdev (Director PG Studies) also appreciated the guidance of Dr Hari Parkash and he emphasized upon the latest CAD CAM facility and a state of art mobile dental van that has been added at I.T.S CDSR.

    Mr. Arpit Chadha (Vice Chairman, I.T.S The Education Group) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He along with Mr. B K Arora felicitated Prof. (Dr) Hari Parkash.

    This was followed by an address of Dr Hari Parkash who stated that he enjoyed every moment of his work at I.T.S and appreciated all the help he received from the Management under the able guidance of the Chairman – Dr R P Chadha.

    Dr Ritu Duggal delivered the Oration Lecture titled “Orthodontics : What do we know?” and showed many interesting clinical cases. Dr Vinod Sachdev and Dr D C Shetty felicitated the guest speaker.

    The program concluded with Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr D C Shetty.

    I.T.S Centre for Dental Studies and Research inaugurated their in house CAD CAM (Computer aided Designing and Computer assisted Milling) set up in Advanced Dental Lab on 23rd December, 2016.

    The inauguration was done by lamp lighting by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Hari Parkash, Mr. B K Arora (Secretary I.T.S The Education Group), Dr. Vinod Sachdev (Director PG Studies), Dr D C Shetty (Principal), Dr Ritu Duggal (Professor, AIIMS-CDER) & Col S K Agarwal (Head, Dept of Prosthodontics).

    All the Head of Departments, professors and representatives from management attended the function.

    The College is amongst the first private Dental college in North India to have this advanced technology. CAD CAM will usher the labs into a digital era. The restorative and rehabilitative care at ITS will be now be at par with the International standards.

    CAD CAM established here is of 5 axis milling capacity with both wet and dry milling features. The machine is also capable of milling metal (Titanium and Crome Cobalt).

    All the faculty and PGs were enthusiastic to use this modern state of art facility.

    I.T.S Dental College, Muradnagar organized a Sultanpur Village Adoption programme and inaugurated I.T.S Charitable Satellite Clinic on 21st December 2016 (Wednesday).
    The function was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chairman (ITS – The Education Group), Mr. Arpit Chadha, a dynamic personality and a youth icon. Mr. Surender Sood Director PR ( I.T.S-The Education Group) addressed the gathering and explained the motive behind opening of the satellite clinic and village adoption which has been done for upliftment of the society and to increase the utilization of medical and dental services for the village people. He also spoke about the sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health, socio-cultural issues like female feticide, gender equality, and geriatric, women and child health care.
    He assured the gathering regarding express dental service for them and also made announcement for free Complete Dentures & Removable Partial Dentures for the villagers and availability of Bus Service every Friday from the Satellite Clinic to I.T.S Dental College, Muradnagar and vice-versa.
    The Occasion was also graced by the Dr. Vinod Sachdev (Director–PG Studies), Dr. Devicharan Shetty (Principal), Dr. C.S Ram (Director- Physiotherapy), Mr. Vijay Sharma (Administrator) & by Head and professors of all the Departments of the I.T.S Dental College, Muradnagar. 
    A Dental screening and treatment camp was also organized by the institute comprising of the following team of doctors – Dental, Medical (Physician & Eye) & Paramedical (Physiotherapist). Patients were screened for dental, Medical, Eye and Physiotherapy related purposes and a health talk session for school children & general population regarding oral health, general health and adoption of healthy lifestyle via audio-visual aids were given.

    A one day workshop on GENOMIC DNA ISOLATION AND PCR titled ‘BLOOD AND DENTAL PLAQUE AS MOLECULAR TOOLS- THEORIES AND PRACTICES’ was organised by Centre for Advanced Research and Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology on 12 th December 2016.
    This hands on workshop included an enriching Guest Lecture by Dr. Usha Agrawal, Scientist E, National Institute of Pathology, Safdarjung, New Delhi on Molecular Diagnostic Modalities followed by an interactive hands on session of DNA isolation from Human blood and Dental plaque followed by Agarose Gel Electrophoresis and demonstration of PCR.
    The workshop was attended by over 70 participants from various dental colleges and was well appreciated by all.
